As a family-run business, we’ve always stayed true to our core values and built a proud heritage on offering the best service, outstanding quality and world class facilities. Our traditional blend of trust, loyalty and passion makes us who we are - a family of flavour. The Freddy Hirsch company has grown into Southern Africa's largest supplier of industrial spices, casings, and meat processing equipment. We service thousands of customers, including independent butcheries, major retail chain stores, meat processing factories, and poultry factories. Over the years it has expanded to supply expats and other communities who got to know the brand across the globe. 

Marina Sea Salt is an innovative salt supplier in South Africa and is one of the leading salt suppliers in Southern African, we supply products of the highest standard which not only offers excellent quality, but also value for money. Four decades ago the founding father of Marina Sea Salt, Gert Schoombee, started this very successful family business which has become synonymous with quality in the local salt industry. Since our humble beginnings, our Orange Bottle Braai Salt can now be found in all parts of the world. His legacy continues and with the right combination of sun, wind and time, we produce 100% natural Sea Salt. Marina Sea Salt has grown from a small family business to become a leading national salt supplier in Southern Africa. Our saltpans have a long history dating back to the late 1700's where the local inhabitants already gathered salt in these naturally formed salt pans' believed to be amongst the first salt pans in South Africa. Marina Sea Salt is still cultivating salt from these very same salt pans. 

The Quest for flavour. Our intrepid spice journey first began in 1924, when our Robertsons Spices spice experts have continued to go to the ends of the earth to source only the best ingredients returning with bags full of wisdom. The commitment to flavour is what has helped solidify our spot as South Africa's beloved Spice People. Although much has changed since 1924, our commitment to taste has remained the same. We continually strive to combine exceptional quality and taste, to help our customers discover bold new worlds of flavour. 

The Maggi brand originated in Switzerland in the 1880s, created by entrepreneur Julius Maggi when he took over his father's mill (who himself was an Italian immigrant). He wanted to improve the nutritional consumption of working families, creating plant-based ready made meals and instant soups rich in protein. a Unique slice of history stood the test of time with Lazenby Worcester Sauce. E Lazenby & Sons was acquired by Cross & Blackwell in 1919. Nestle sold off their Cross & Blackwell operations in the early 21st century, and the (unused) rights to the E Lazenby name were acquired by Premier Foods. Nestle retains the rights to the Lazenby name in South Africa, where it survives as a popular brand of Worcestershire Sauce
